The Associate Board of the Infant Welfare Society of Chicago (IWS) was founded in the spring of 2008, as a means to engage the community of young professionals in Chicago.
The Associate Board seeks to raise awareness of the IWS organization and the healthcare issues the dedicated staff members are addressing at the clinic for the working poor in the city of Chicago. In addition to raising awareness, the principal objectives of the Associate Board are to raise funds to support the IWS, and sponsor and participate in volunteer opportunities that support the health and wellness initiatives of IWS for the underserved, uninsured working poor in Logan Square and the surrounding communities
